The parcel arrived in decent condition, though the outer box was slightly bashed on one corner. Thankfully the gown inside was well protected in its bag and completely fine. Delivery was reasonably quick overall.

The design is just gorgeous and so clever. Having the option to change up the look with the detachable parts is fantastic. I wore the sleeves for the main ceremony and then took them off for the evening reception, and it felt like I had two completely different outfits. The high neck gives it a very elegant, classic vibe, whilst the mermaid shape keeps it modern. Really brilliant design choices.

I must admit, I usually find formal gowns incredibly restrictive and itchy, so my main concern was how comfortable this would be to wear for hours on end. The satin feels lovely and soft against the skin, and the tulle isn't scratchy at all. The detachable sleeves are a brilliant idea because you can easily take them off when you want a bit more freedom to move your arms. I managed to sit, stand, and walk around the venue without feeling like I was trapped in a corset. It is surprisingly lightweight too, which is a massive bonus.
