I received an award at a banquet and wore this up on stage. I was nervous about tripping on the stairs but the mermaid flare starts high enough up the leg that you have a full range of motion. I felt very elegant accepting my plaque. The dress has a nice weight that makes it drape nicely over your figure.

Took this on a cruise for formal night. I was worried the sequins would get ruined in my suitcase but I rolled it up carefully and it unpacked looking completely fine. No wrinkles which is a huge plus when you dont have a steamer. The v neck is cut a bit low so I had to find the right bra to wear with it but once that was sorted it looked great.

I wore this to my cousins evening wedding last weekend and honestly it was way more comfortable than I expected. Usually sequins scratch my arms up but the lining on this one did a good job protecting my skin. I was able to sit through the whole dinner and even dance a bit without feeling restricted. The v neck is flattering without being too much. Definitely a solid choice if you need something formal but still want to be able to breathe.

The color is really what sold me on this. It looks a bit different depending on the lighting which is kind of cool. In normal daylight it looks like a deep rich shade and at night with indoor lighting it sparkles a lot more. The sweep train is elegant but dragging it around outside for photos did get the very bottom hem a little dirty. Nothing a dry cleaner cant fix though.

Used this for the evening gown portion of a local pageant. Under the stage lights the sparkle is unreal. It moves really well when you walk which is important for that kind of event. The train follows you nicely without getting tangled around your feet. I did have it hemmed about an inch because I am on the shorter side even with heels but the tailor had no issues working with the material.
